Benjamin Daniele Wahlgren Ingrosso, born on September 14, 1997, in Danderyd, Sweden, is a Swedish singer, songwriter, and record producer known for his dynamic pop and electropop tracks.
Early Life and Musical Beginnings
Born into a family with a rich artistic heritage, Benjamin is the son of dancer and restaurateur Emilio Ingrosso and singer-actress Pernilla Wahlgren. He is also the cousin of Sebastian Ingrosso from Swedish House Mafia.
At just nine years old, he won the 2006 Lilla Melodifestivalen with his original song "Hej Sofia," earning the opportunity to represent Sweden in the MGP Nordic competition, where he placed fourth. This early success set the stage for his future in entertainment.
Television Appearances and Early Career
In 2014, Benjamin showcased his versatility by winning the Swedish celebrity dance competition "Let's Dance," partnering with professional dancer Sigrid Bernson. This victory not only highlighted his dancing prowess but also increased his visibility in Swedish media.
