Hailing from Curaçao, Andy and Dorothy were immersed in a rich musical environment from a young age. Their father, Tony Sherman, was a celebrated singer in the 1970s and 1980s, which deeply influenced their musical upbringing. In 2009, the siblings officially formed Shermanology, blending their Caribbean-Dutch heritage with old-school house elements. Their unique style quickly garnered attention, leading to collaborations with prominent artists and performances at major festivals worldwide.

Building on their early successes, Shermanology continued to evolve their sound, seamlessly blending house, soul, and funk with their unmistakable vocal prowess. Their independent release "Boyz N Da Club" was dubbed the 'Hottest Record in the World' by Annie Mac on BBC Radio One, showcasing their ability to merge infectious energy with soulful melodies. They have also collaborated with renowned artists such as FISHER on "It's A Killa" and provided remixes for house legends Todd Edwards and Fatboy Slim.
Their performances have graced stages at esteemed festivals, including Kappa Futur Festival, the Martinez Brothers-curated Cuttin Headz, Miami's LaLaLand Festival, UK dance festival Beat-Herder, and Rio's The Town, with a massive audience capacity of 100,000. Their recent collaboration with legendary 90s R&B group Boyz II Men resulted in a reimagined house rendition of their hit "Motownphilly," further showcasing their versatility and commitment to blending genres.
